EXPERIENCE:

2014/10-Till date, Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS), Dhaka, Bangladesh GIS and Remote Specialist

Responsibilities:Assisting GIS Specialist Management which includes identefying data requirement, cost estimation, collection, storing, and other necessary Works; Creating country level atlases on different themes; Providing GIS/RS support to LLP, biophysical research, implementation team in developing baseline survey plan, data collection and analysis; Capacity development support to BCAS, local stuffs and partners for GPS survey, biophysical survey, GIS data handling and database management.

 

2013/03-2014/10, Foundation for Women and Child Assistance-FWCA, Rajshahi, Bangladesh, Coordinatior

Responsibilities: Providing support to maintenance of geo database and analysis data for research and survey; Coordinate with project manager; MIS system back up of all important data to protect from disasters; Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others; Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.

Responsibilities: Providing support to maintenance of geo database and analysis data for research and survey; Assist and provide support in facilitating building capacity of the GOB stakeholder Departments; Facilitating  RIMS unit of Bangladesh Forest Department in forest mapping

Responsibilities: Train new staff to ensure understanding of our database structure, coding and procedures; Interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures; Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others; Assist program coordinator in day- to- day system management and program monitoring; Approve decisions, requests, expenditure and recommendations on behalf of senior people in their absence according to agreed guidelines and policies; Provide support to head of HR-Admin in perfuming routine HR-administrative responsibilities.

  • MSc Thesis: Applying Transport Quality of Life (TQoL) assessment as a public transport appraisal technique. Case Study: Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
  • Structure vision of the region of twente, 2020.
  • 2D flood simulation in Naga, Phillippines with the help of SOBEK, ILWIS.
  • SMCE assessment for via Baltica transportation corridor project, Poland.

Obtained Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) for pursing M.Sc Degree at  ITC, University of Twente from 2010/09 till 2012/03.
